Chase down bugs and stop them from destroying the flowers! But watch out -if Worm bumps into its own tail, it's game over! Created on and off in one month for the GitHub Game Off 2021 Game Jam - the theme for which was "bug". Controls: Movement:  WASD or ↑←↓→ Start game / pause / unpause: SPACE Exit: Esc Tips: Bugs can fly over Worm's head, try to time your movement right!Keep an eye on the 3 health bars - each one represents a different flower. At the moment there is no visual indication of damage on the flower itself. We hope to add this in a future updateGoing off the left or right edge of the screen will warp Worm to the opposite side, trying to go past the top or bottom edge will result in Worm changing direction to either left or right (depending on what direction it was going before turning to go up or down) Credits: Concept, Game Design, Programming, Additional SFX - Scoot. The text reads: "Nest Defeated! Well done! Restart: SPACE, Exit Game: Esc" Please note: We will endeavour to squash these bugs and add more polish to the game post-jam!
