Travelling & The Fractured Mines - A Practice in Level Design In an attempt to better understand the world of level design using Unreal Engine's basic 3D Platformer tools, I decided that I would put both of my works up as showcase pieces. --------------------------------------------------------------- Travelling "I was a lost wanderer, unsure if I'd ever find my way. It all began with a station..." Explore a sprawling, multi-leveled, neon underground subway station in this pleasantly simple, yet exciting walking simulator. The level was designed with the intent that the player would only walk, although jumping might lead you to an interesting place or two. --------------------------------------------------------------- The Fractured Mines "We thought that we had struck gold. How foolish we were..." Explore an abandoned mine and dare to delve deep into the corners of Earth that many miners would prefer be left forgotten to the clutches of time. The level was designed with the intent that the player would jump, run, and climb their way through the ever-changing Fractured Mines! --------------------------------------------------------------- I hope you enjoy!
