Based on a Japanese fable, The Tongue-Cut sparrow is a two level platformer in which the player must traverse a bamboo forest. In each level, the player takes on the role of first Satoru, a kind old man with a skill for herbalism, and his wife Hidemi, a grumpy old woman with a fukiya to help clear her path. Keyboard Controls: WASD or Arrow Keys to moveSpacebar to jumpSatoru: E to gather herbHidemi: Q to shoot fukiya, E to chop bamboo (after picking up the axe) Made in collaboration with Cae (https://twitter.com/caeen_) for character/asset design, character art and animations, platform and background assets, and coding of character mechanics. I worked on coding systems, level design, cinematics, sound design, and score.
