The deserts of Pune may be lonely and desolate but the spice fields are the energy source for the roving tribes. You are tasked to help the Skaak people survive the harsh terrain and grow to be the dominant tribe. Come and Explore the landscapes, Expand your reach by taking control of the spice fields, Exploit the life-giving powers of the spice to grow your tribe and Exterminate all the other so-called Kings. This is a turn-based, isometric view game inspired by chess gameplay. Controls: Left-click and drag to move around the map Zoom in and out with the mouse scroll button Select your units by clicking on them and then hover over tiles to see where they can move. Left-click again to start a move or right-click to deselect. The King can generate new units, with unique movement and attacking styles, if enough spice is available. Eliminate all other Kings to win the game. Theme: This game was an entry for the GoGodotJam 2 of the theme "Energy Source". Again learned a lot about how to tackle a project and did too many late nights. I am quite proud of how I implemented some of the gameplay and may even do a video or two to showcase it and add to the growing Godot tutorial base. Thanks for playing!
