Near the end of the 21st century, the Earth's fossil fuel supply began to run dry. A scramble for a major new energy source began. Then, a discovery was made and very soon after, another one came. The first discovery was humanity's possible salvation: safe, efficient fusion energy. Reactors of all shapes and sizes were built. The second discovery was more fossil fuel reserves, found in some of the most unexpected places. Fusion rollout stalled. The infrastructure for using fossil fuels still existed, and most people didn't yet have access to fusion power. The planet became divided between those who owned fusion reactors, and the people still forced to rely on fossil fuels. ____________________________ Aerodive is a first-person flight action/horror game built in 10 11 days for DreadXP's Dredge the Depths game jam. In this game, you'll fly a futuristic jet capable of enduring the challenges of almost any environment to the depths of the sea and lay waste to an operation that's drilling the seabed for resources. The game is roughly 15 minutes long. Gamepad support is rudimentary; most controllers should work in-game but menus are not yet supported.
